Considering that the founding fathers went to great lengths to ensure the separation of church and state, it worries me that so many of our political leaders, both current and aspiring, spend so much time telling us about the their religious beliefs and pandering to the religious, left right and god knows what.
What ever happened to job of to actually running the country, or is that why we are in such a ruddy mess now?
